Welcome to the Gunpowder Golf Association Website!The Gunpowder Golf Association was started in the summer of 1992 and chartered in November 1993. It started with about 12 members and has steadily grown to 30+ present members (including honorary lifetime members). We were incorporated in 2000 and meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month. Officers are elected every two years and consist of the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Tournament Chairmen and Handicap Chairman. Charitable outings are usually held in the summer with various other tournaments throughout the year. We also have an annual bull and oyster roast and a family picnic. Proceeds are given directly to our specific charities throughout the year and at the end of the year, any money left in the treasury is given to a needy family. This group is a tight knit family oriented group out to have some fun and in the process help those in need.
